Why We Be Here

Hi.

Welcome to Realm Weavers and thanks for coming. First, a little about the why and the what.

We created this website to create a community for TTRPG storytellers, especially for professionals, by offering resources to quickly find quality content and to network.

Our goal is for you to utilize us, so you have to spend less time prepping and more time creating highly memorable experiences. We want this to be a place where you  can read reviews, get tips about running tabletop role playing games, and get support for your needs.

This site will evolve based on the aggregate wants of you, our readers. We’ll create polls to gauge your wants, you can always comment on one of the blogs, or you can always email us at (blogsite email).

Thank you for coming and we hope you stay. Your feedback is essential for our growth and utility.

    Hello!
I see that You are interested in Call of Cthulhu. I invite You to take a look at my free brochure, full of Lovecraftian inspirations from the real life, science, history and culture:

    https://adeptus7.itch.io/lovecraftian-inspirations-from-real-life-and-beliefs

You can use them as You want, even as a part of Your own scenario/game/story/whatever, without need to pay or mention me.

    Best regards!

      Hello Dominik,

Thank you so much for reaching out. We are very interested in Call of Cthulhu and helping indie gamers out as well if there is any assistance that we can provide for you! We are also interested to try this for our gaming sessions, and you are welcome to join these. This looks very interesting! Paul and Jeff will respond shortly as well.

      Have a fantastic day!
      Matt

      Hi Dominik,
Apologies for the delay. I downloaded your content and it’s quite good! To use a Lovecraftian term- even erudite! I especially liked where you linked mythic archetypes to the Mythos. Could our legends merely be stories told so many times around camp fires, beginning before recorded history that humans translate the unimaginable into something limited minds can more easily wrap our minds around?

I really like that, our commonly known mythic pantheons are merely facades for something much older and much darker. Was this shift toward something more palatable part of a sinister coverup or merely human nature as we try to that which cannot be understood into something we can grasp or at least, more comfortable terms?

I think I’ve seen your comments and suggestions in the past, on Reddit threads. I can suggest some Discord channels where posting this might be useful (Illusion Horror & Con, for example: https://discord.gg/yWDHxczj).

Thanks so much for your response. After we post our launch video, I’ll do a specific blog post in regards to this. We won’t be able to do this for all the product shared with us, but as the first content contribution we’ve received before we even launch, I’d like to do more of a write up.

      THANKS!!!!
      Jeff (playtherapy)
